On August 10, the 4th Weifang Vocational Skills Competition "Gathering Talents in Kite Capital · Skills Revitalizing Weifang" – Anqiu Sub-competition & 2nd Anqiu Vocational Skills Competition was successfully held at Shandong Shengbao.

The event was co-organized by the Weifang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Anqiu Municipal People's Government, hosted by the Anqiu Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and co-sponsored by the Anqiu Municipal Finance Bureau, Anqiu Federation of Trade Unions, Xin'an Sub-district Office of Anqiu, Anqiu FRP Industry Association, and Shandong Shengbao Company.

Liu Lixin, Deputy Director of the Weifang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau; Wang Dongzhi, Professor at Jinan University, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shandong Composite Materials Society, and Secretary-General of the Advanced Building Materials Committee of the Shandong Silicate Society; and Yu Hao, Anqiu Municipal Standing Committee Member, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Government Party Leadership Group, and Deputy Mayor Nominee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Jingbao, Party Secretary and Director of the Anqiu Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Over 150 participants, including representatives from organizing and co-sponsoring units, officials from relevant municipal departments, leaders of state-owned enterprises and other enterprises, heads of private vocational training schools, judges, and competitors, attended the event.

Wang Fenghai, President of the Anqiu FRP Association and Chairman of Shandong Shengbao, stated in his speech:"Shandong Shengbao will spare no effort in co-organizing this competition with full enthusiasm and dedication. Skills competitions serve as an effective platform for employees to showcase their talents and exchange knowledge, as well as a comprehensive assessment of professional skills. We hope all participants compete earnestly, demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship."

The competition focused on FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) Hand Lay-up Workers. Contestants from the FRP industry showcased their expertise in both theoretical written tests and practical skill assessments. Ultimately, 10 first-place winners, 20 second-place winners, and 29 third-place winners were awarded.

This competition provided a platform for skilled talents to demonstrate their abilities and refine their techniques, serving as a thorough evaluation of their professional skills and vocational qualities.
