On May 15th, the centralized commencement ceremony for key projects in Xin'an Subdistrict and the groundbreaking ceremony for Shengbao Group's 12,000-ton annual production capacity glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) products manufacturing project were held at the project site in Shandong Shengbao. The ceremony was attended by Qiao Risheng, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, who announced the project commencement. Sun Zhijie, Vice Mayor, presided over the event. Other attendees included municipal leaders Duan Hongxi, Zhou Xiquan (Party Secretary of Xin'an Subdistrict Committee), and Li Xiangchun (Deputy Secretary). Representatives from Shandong Shengbao's project promotion leading group, heads of relevant municipal departments, Xin'an Subdistrict leadership, and project construction personnel were also present. This project represents a key initiative by Shengbao Group, involving ¥50 million in foreign investment as part of its expansion strategy. With a total investment of ¥385 million, the project covers 136.83 mu (≈9.12 hectares) and features 53,000㎡ of construction area. It will be equipped with advanced production equipment including cantilever, horizontal and vertical winding machines, and CNC molding presses to achieve an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons of GFRP products. Notably, 30% of output will be CNC molded products for applications in cutting-edge fields like chemical engineering, construction, shipbuilding, rail transit, and high-speed rail. The construction will proceed in two phases: Phase I (Office Building #1 and Workshops #2-5) will be completed and operational by December 2023, while Phase II (Workshop #6) is scheduled for November 2024. Upon full operation, the project is expected to generate ¥400 million in annual sales revenue, contribute ¥35 million in taxes, and create over 200 jobs.
